Demons to some, Angels to others. possibly the most iconic scene in the franchise? I don't know if I can say that indefinitely, but it certainly had a large impact on me when I first saw it. I love everything about this moment in Hellraiser and really wanted to make a version of this that felt very Dirty Pillows coded!

We've changed around the iconic sentence to be more of a personal meaning, dropping it from plural to singular for angels/demons. I also decided to put Angel first-and here's my reason behind that:
A large influence in all of the dirty pillow's work is to take that hyper feminine traditional girly aspect and dissect that from a point of what it means to me. Which, in my opinion, often comes with a larger negative connotation from the outside world. you can still put all this work into being the most feminine, girly, gorgeous woman (angel) and as soon as you've crossed someone the wrong way (a man) you'll forever be in their eyes a betrayer of what they originally perceived you as (demon). Think of how many women have lost their lives, sanity, girlhoods, and connection to femineity due to a man's resentment of just not living up to the expectations of who they were in their mind.
