welcome!

Hi, Hello! My name is Ally Mayhem; I'm the trashy and tasteless designer/seamstress behind Dirty Pillows. I've been sewing professionally for almost 5 years. Primarily in the clothing and alterations realm, I finally returned to one of my favorite things in the world- Tacky, pointless, trashy little wall decor. Hence, Dirty Pillows was formed. From there it's grown into bags, bookmarks, hairbows and more!

With a love for thrifting, I try to source as many of my materials second hand for both better sustainability, buy also constant creative inspiration, Creativity can be sought out from anywhere! All items from this shop are designed by and made by myself and I'm happy to say a small growing team!!

The best part of Dirty Pillows so far is being able to grow this into a small team! My production assistant, Dana Barrett, has taken over most production when it comes to items that are often recreated. She'll also help me finish off a batch of one-of-a-kind items and with this assistance I'm able to grow this shop to so much more! Getting our Dirty Pillows into the hands of as many people as possible! Stacia Collins has joined our small team as well as a freelance illustrator and now part time sewing intern! Artists sharing art, teaching their art to other artists and working together to bring magic to our work is so important to me and we thank everyone for continuing to shop with us to keep that spirit alive!! (and being able to pay more people as well)

I would like to thank each and every person who takes the time to support my creative endeavors. Be it purchasing an item, sharing a social media profile, or just talking to friends about my products. Creating art, sewing, and making things literally is a life changing and lifesaving form of therapy for me. So, from the bottom of my tacky heart-I thank you so much.
