12/31 Update!
Oh my god! The last update of 2025! INSANE!!! I literally have no clue if anyone is even popping by to check these out, but if you are. HEY!! YOU ARE A REAL ONE FOR THAT.
Okay! This week we are finishing all non-heart bag orders placed in November! Woo!! Because next week we are officially in ASSEMBLY MODE for those bad boys. As of right now our goal to get all heart bags out by January 9th. We are currently waiting on some red trim from the company we get it from, but we're going to make sure as many steps are completed so by the time it arrives, we can pop it on. Making these heart bags is going to be fun and honestly?! WOW. a full circle moment. Making the heart bags feels like such a testament to our production, quality, sewing skills and pattern capabilities. I made the heart bag a year ago and it was difficult at first. Now with an entire year under our belts of making them I feel so proud and confident! And honestly so happy more people want them!!! what a cool fucking feeling.
we will be listing the blood red Dracula bags for make to order in January. Just waiting to get to a 75% completion on our current batch before opening them back up. We'll also be opening up Black Phillip bags and make me scream bags as well. A really big goal of 2026 is to have more of these items available to make per month, if not every other month. This last year we really spent time figuring out what worked for our production turn around, storefront inventory needs and stock for shows. Now we've got a pretty good rhythm! Couple that with a studio makeover and more help!! we're going to be unstoppable!! YEAH! hopefully!
We're coming up to a Dirty Pillows big one for us! Valentines Day!! We take Valentines Day very seriously and have LOTS of big plans for our Valentines Day drop. we're looking to have one at the end of January and one in early February with hopes of as many ready to ship items as possible! Previews and more information coming to an instagram scroll near you soon.
On a serious note, I would like to seriously thank every single person who helped make Dirty Pillows a possibility this year. Everyone who ordered something, checked out our website, referred our products to a friend, picked up an item at one of the stores we sell on site to, checked us out at a show, or simply said "omg! I love your bag" It all adds up to the collective love, confidence and passion that drives this operation. I had so much support from friends, family, and the growth of our online presence has only amplified that. It's so incredibly wonderful feeling and I'm bottling that feeling up and taking it into the new year. There's SOOOOOOO many things I can't wait to try this year and truly look forward to making so many of them happen! fingers crossed
